What prompted you to get into real estate law?
I got into Real Estate law as I was initially employed as a Commercial Loan Officer at Fleet Bank ( now Bank of America ) . I went to Suffolk Law School in Boston at night and received my degree and enjoyed banking/ real estate . I then went to work as a young associate at Adler Pollock & Sheehan. I decided to use my banking contacts and started my own firm in 1991.
How long have you been in the industry?
I have been in the real estate ( both residential and commercial ) since 1989
What is the biggest piece of advice you would give to home buyers in today’s market?
Biggest piece of advise to a home buyer is to surround themselves with professionals like Slocum Realty!
How can your services benefit a seller?
I can assist sellers in a number of ways. We can alleviate some of their pressures. Most sellers think we just draw up a deed and do very little but that isn’t the case. We are watching every step of the way to make sure another closing attorney is doing their job.
What are your hobbies and passions outside of work?
I enjoy Golf ( not as good as Nick ), PC Basketball, working out, and family. 🏌🏀🏋🏼
