What prompted you to get into mortgage lending?
I love meeting new people, helping folks achieve the dream of home ownership and being part of a community. Mortgage lending allows me to do all three simultaneously. It’s a very rewarding profession.
How long have you been in the industry?
15 years. I was a real estate title examiner for 6 years prior to that. So I’ve been involved with both the legal and banking sides of real estate.
What is the biggest piece of advice you would give today’s buyer as they prepare for the mortgage process?
You know the question you are afraid to ask? Ask it. It will make you more comfortable with the transaction and as real estate professionals we are happy to answer any question. Your peace of mind is the most important thing, so ask as many questions as you can up front.
What is most rewarding and what is most challenging about today’s market?
Well it's extremely fast paced which can be both rewarding and challenging. I am very fortunate that I have an amazing team that handles the back end of the transaction seamlessly so I can build relationships and keep everything moving to meet contract dates and keep everyone happy.
What are your hobbies and passions outside of work?
I just moved to the Cowesett area so I’d like to get involved with some community organizations. I coach sports, play golf and tennis and basketball and love theatre and music. I read a lot and love to try to restaurants and travel with my wife, Sarah. 🏀🏌🎾🎶
