Today, the RI Association of Realtors released their most recent market stats comparing September in 2017 with September of 2016.

Here are the highlights statewide:

👍The median price of single-family homes rose 13.1% to $261,300

👇Sales Activity decreased 4.3 percent which is likely due to a 13.1% decline in the number of single-family homes available.

👍Condos saw a median price increase of 23.2% to $228,000

👍Condos saw sales activity also increase 18.4%

👍Multi-Family homes saw a median price increase of 22.2% to $219,900

👍Multi-Family homes had sales activity also increase 15.3%

And the single-family highlights in the central part of the state:

👍Warwick saw the median price increase 12.44% and the number of sales increase by 16.07%

👍East Greenwich saw their median price increase 15.22% their number of sales remain at the same pace as in 2016

👍& 👇West Warwick saw their median price increase 9.9% their number of sales drop 3.03%

👍Coventry saw the median price increase 18.63% and the number of sales increase by 14.04%

👍& 👇West Greenwich saw the median price increase by 105% but the number of sales dropped by 12.5%

👇 & 👇 North Kingstown saw the median price fall by 11.55% and the number of sales decrease by 36.36%

👍Cranston saw their median price increase by 17.24% and the total number of sales increase by 8.75%
